This guy fixed some of my links, but the links that work from his page won't work if I try to use them independently in my browser (as opposed to clicking on them from his page). I'm so confused :-)
Thanks for any insight anyone has...
For now, go to his site to get to my Condi Rice links (weird).

you appear to be using an HTTP URL
you:
http://ftp.archive.org/movies/lisarein/tvclips/dailyapril2004/04-08-04-daily-condi.mov
him:
ftp://ftp.archive.org/pub/movies/lisarein/tvclips/dailyapril2004/04-08-04-daily-condi.mov
Simply change "http" to "ftp", and add "/pub" before movies, and everything should be fine.
what they said!

1) the fact that you have mod_speling turned on and the server tries to figure out where the link goes if a character is off
2) The link goes to dailyapril2004 but there is no dailyapril2004 directory so it sends it to dailyapril2003
